South of the Dutch Garden is a meditative tranquil space containing sixteen standard Catalpa bignonoides, (Indian Bean Trees), underplanted with red-leaved Acers this is a tranquil area. Hellebores and spring bulbs start the season that ends with Aconitum and hardy Begonia grandis.
